Winnerβs Reaction
βIβm really happy with this victory because itβs the first Main Event trophy Iβve ever won in any series,β Wang says.
βIt was really tough with so many contenders joining this event. I think the Main Event structure was great. Everyone had around 35 to 40 big blinds. Only at the final table, it was a bit shorter. The player I was most concerned about was the third-place finisher, Yohwan βBoxeRβ Lim, because Iβve seen how he plays before.β
Reflecting on his turning point, Wang highlights the clash where his pocket jacks hold against Kang Wongyuβs pocket eights β the moment he feels the championship is truly within reach.
With this standout victory, πΉπΌ Wang Shun Ping caps off an exceptional run and brings Players Series Championship Taipei II 2025 to a memorable and fitting conclusion.
