There was no shortage of action at opening day of Players Series Championship III Taipei with multiple events taking place at the Asia Poker Arena starting at 10AM all the way until the last bubble burst at 2AM.

Three marquee events wrapped up with survivors bagging up while at the side events, four players emerged victorious to claim the first trophies of the series. Check out the highlights below.


โญ Natural8 Open Main Event: Flight A Recap

The first flight of the Natural8 Open Main Event concluded with 10 players advancing from a field of 65 entries. Each one not only earned a spot at Day 2 but also secured a piece of the TWD 7,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Setting the bar very high for the next flight was Kristof Segers with a towering stack of 558,000 which was more than double his closest challenger, Ori Kossonogi, who bagged up 225,000.

๐ŸŒŸ Natural8 Open Super High Roller: Day 1 Recap

The high roller events schedule kicked off with the Natural8 Open Super High Roller TWD 1,500,000 guaranteed attracting 26 entries at TWD 50,000 buy-in each across Day 1’s ten levels. Among the first to get on the felt was ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Fabian Rolli, capitalizing on the fifty percent tournament fee cash back promotion.

By bagging time, 16 players survived with Rolli perched up top backed by a stack of 766,000 (76 big blinds). Rolli just edged over ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Youhyun Kim during one of the last hands of the day. Kim finished a very close second rank with a stack of 759,000 (75 big blinds), while ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ John Niko Costiniano rounded out the top three with 717,000 (71 big blinds).

โญ PS Warm Up Draws 285; Chun Fung Ip Tops 45 Survivors

The PS Warm Up was a hot item on the opening day menu with a combined 285 entries across the three flights to breach the TWD 1,000,000 guarantee. After all of the flight bubbles burst, a cumulative 45 players bagged up with ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Chun Fung Ip at the helm sitting on a stack of 440,000.
