#6: Win The Button
Yohwan “BoxeR” Lim Triumphs in “Win the Button” and Claims a Trophy on the Players Series Opening Day
The Players Series Taiwan Championship has only just begun, and we already have our first champion! South Korean player Yohwan Lim, also known by his legendary pseudonym “BoxeR”, has emerged victorious in the Win the Button tournament, outlasting a field of 44 players. With this win, he secures one of the very first trophies of the festival, making an immediate impact as the event kicks off.

In addition to the prestige, Lim takes home NT$66,300 in prize money—a solid reward for a strong opening performance. A former e-sports superstar turned poker player, BoxeR once again proves that his competitive dominance extends far beyond the computer screen.
The Win the Button format, where the winner of each hand takes control of the button for the next, requires both aggression and strategic finesse. Lim masterfully leveraged this dynamic, maintaining control of the table, dictating the pace, and seizing every opportunity with precision.
This victory sets the perfect tone for his festival, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
