Only One Over 2M: Kim Dohyeok Dominates Day 1 Of PS Super High Roller Open
fter a demanding stretch of ten 40-minute levels, Day 1 of the PS Super High Roller Open has concluded with 24 players advancing to Day 2.
Sitting firmly at the top is 🇰🇷 Kim Dohyeok, who bags a massive 2,197,000 chips to set the early benchmark. Kim separates himself from the rest of the field as the only player to surpass the 2-million mark, steadily building through disciplined decision-making and extracting maximum value in key spots.
The TWD 50,000 buy-in event carries a TWD 2,500,000 guaranteed prize pool and has already attracted 53 entries, with late registration remaining open until the start of Level 13 on Day 2. That number is expected to rise, adding another layer of uncertainty to the next stage.
Chasing from a distance is 🇰🇷 Lee Hungte, who closes the day with 1,551,000 chips after capitalizing on well-timed aggression. Also firmly in the mix are 🇮🇱 Ori Kossonogi and 🇰🇷 Lim Yohwan, both holding stacks capable of mounting serious runs.
With fresh contenders still able to enter and 24 survivors already through the opening grind, Day 2 shapes up to be an even more intense battleground.
