Lai Hsuan Yu Triumphs In PS High Roller Open
After six intense hours of final table action, 🇹🇼 Lai Hsuan Yu stands victorious in the PS High Roller Open, securing TWD 677,100 and adding another Players Series trophy to his résumé.
Lai outlasts a competitive 97-entry field and claims the largest share of the TWD 2,737,200 prize pool, marking his third Players Series victory following previous wins in the Main Event and Superstack at PS Taipei 2024.

Final Table Action
The action begins dramatically as 🇰🇷 Hungte Lee enters the final table with just 2,000 chips — less than a single blind. On the second hand, he shoves K8 offsuit into Lai’s pocket sixes and fails to connect, exiting in 9th for TWD 82,100.
Shortly after, 🇰🇷 Cho Jaegeol jams JT from the small blind into 🇮🇱 Ori Kossonogi’s ace-five offsuit. A rivered ace seals Cho’s fate in 8th place for TWD 93,100.
🇹🇼 Lee Poching attempts a bold multi-way bluff with Q8 offsuit but runs into 🇲🇴 Chan Man Lok’s rivered straight with A3 offsuit, finishing 7th for TWD 106,800.
Momentum swings continue as 🇬🇧 Josue Marie Choppy surges up the counts before the break, only to see his AQ offsuit top pair crushed by Lai’s set of kings. He departs in 6th for TWD 125,900.

A brutal cooler follows for 🇹🇼 Hu Kai Hung, whose pocket jacks flop an overpair and open-ended straight flush draw — but he is already drawing thin against Yu’s flopped flush. Hung exits in 5th for TWD 153,300.
The final woman standing, 🇹🇼 Lin Meng Ling, sees her pocket queens run into Lai’s pocket aces, closing her run in 4th for TWD 198,400.
Kossonogi battles through fluctuating stacks but is eventually crippled by Lai. His AT offsuit gets called by Chan’s 6-4 offsuit, and a rivered straight sends him out in 3rd for TWD 303,800.
Heads-Up Thriller

The final duel between 🇹🇼 Lai Hsuan Yu and 🇲🇴 Chan Man Lok turns into a gripping two-hour contest, with chips moving back and forth in a high-pressure exchange. A deal is reached during heads-up play, with Chan locking up TWD 650,600 and Lai securing TWD 677,100, though both continue battling for the trophy.
The decisive moment arrives when Chan shoves Q4 offsuit and Lai snap-calls with A5 offsuit. The board runs dry, and ace-high holds, sealing the victory for Lai Hsuan Yu.
Another commanding performance from Lai, who once again proves why he remains one of the most consistent forces on the Players Series stage.
