Takeya Okada Finishes in Style, Wins The Closer
The curtain falls on The Closer, officially bringing the Players Series Taiwan Championship to an end. The final event draws a solid 102 entries, generating a TWD 871,500 prize pool and delivering one last burst of high-energy action to close out the series.
When the final card hits the felt, it is π―π΅ Takeya Okada who stands alone at the top. Okada navigates the field with confidence and composure, securing TWD 257,100 after sealing the final hand in heads-up play.
Facing him in the final duel, πΉπΌ Shaw Yih Chia puts together an impressive run of his own, battling deep before settling for TWD 155,000 for second place.
What makes Okadaβs victory even more remarkable is the timing. Just one day earlier, he captured the Hyper Turbo Knockout trophy. Now, he closes the series with another triumph, completing a stunning back-to-back performance.
Two wins. Two days. A powerful statement to end the festival.
