Final 16 Set: Ahn Uh Sang Storms Into Chip Lead as PS Championship Main Event Reaches Climax
Day 2 of the PS Championship Main Event has come to a close with just 16 players remaining across the final two tables. After ten 60-minute levels of intense action, stamina and precision are tested as the field narrows from a massive 897 entries down to the final contenders.
Each of the remaining players has secured a minimum payout of TWD 210,000 from the TWD 25,575,300 prize pool, but the focus remains firmly on the TWD 3,800,000 awaiting the eventual winner.
At the top of the leaderboard is 🇰🇷 Ahn Uh Sang, who bags a towering 3,745,000 chips heading into the final day. Ahn builds crucial momentum after eliminating 🇹🇼 Chen Szu Han at the final 24 and continues to apply pressure as the field shrinks to two tables.

Right behind him sits 🇦🇹 Andreas Blaskov with 3,640,000. Blaskov appears poised to carry the chip lead into the final hands of the night, holding over four million at one point, but a pivotal confrontation against 🇰🇷 Kang Won Gyu shifts the balance. Facing sustained aggression on a dry board, Blaskov eventually relinquishes the pot and with it, the lead.

With two tables left, pay jumps loom large. The final table guarantees at least TWD 380,000, while second place secures TWD 2,600,000 and third earns TWD 1,820,000. The championship prize of TWD 3,800,000 awaits, and the pressure only intensifies as the final day approaches.
