On the 156th hand at the final table, 🇰🇷 Ki Young Kim turns a winner to defeat 🇵🇭 David Erquiaga and be crowned the PS Championship III Main Event champion. Kim earns TWD 3,010,000 along with his second PS major trophy this series.

Days prior, Kim won the PS Championship Super High Roller title for an incredible back-to-back achievement. What a run!

After several small pots bouncing back and forth, Ki Young Kim shoves on the button with and David Erquiaga calls with  putting himself at risk of elimination.

The flop comes with no help to anyone until the turn  for a pair to Kim. With the river , Erquiaga bows out in 2nd place.

They proceed to check it to the turn where Kim leads 400,000. Erquiaga calls and they take it to fifth street for the river. Both players check and Kim wins the pot to take a slight lead.

Tsang is looking good for a boost with just one card to dodge and does so but still goes down as it runs for a crushing broadway.

Dicky Tsang opens on the button and Ki Young Kim defends. They proceed to check it to the turn where Kim leads for 500,000. After Tsang calls, the river comes for a flush to Kim and two pair to Tsang.

Kim value-bets 2,300,000, Tsang tanks, using up three time extensions then finds a fold. Kim shows his hand.

Ki Young Kim raises 600,000 on the small blind and David Erquiaga defends the big blind. They proceed to check it to the turn where Kim checks again.

Erquiaga wants the pot right there and bets 1,800,000. Kim calls and they head to the river . Kim opens with a check for the last time, Erquiaga tanks but can’t find the trigger and checks.

David Erquiaga limps on the button, small blind Dicky Tsang  follows suit, then Ki Young Kim checks for a rare family pot.

The flop comes very wet and they all check it to the turn where it is checked to Erquiaga who bets 350,000. Tsang answers with a check-raise to 1,300,000, and after Kim gets out of the way, Erquiaga fires a three-bet to 4,500,000. Tsang folds, giving up the big pot without reaching a showdown.

Down to 13 big blinds, Loy Abdo shoves on the button then rests his tournament life on the board when David Erquiaga calls with a covering stack.

However, no help comes as it runs to end his title-bid in 5th place.

David Erquiaga has at under the gun and bumps it up to 450,000 only to be faced with a three-bet from chip leader Dicky Tsang to 1,100,000. Erquiaga defends to have a look at the flop.

When the board comes , Erquiaga checks to the aggressor Tsang who continues for 600,000 and wins the pot with Erquiaga releasing his hand. Tsang shows his hand .

First to act, Loy Abdo opens 400,000 and finds one customer in David Erquiaga on the button.

Full on nuts on the flop for Erquiaga and they both check it to the turn  where Abdo bets 600,000 and Erquiaga flats for the river .

Abdo returns to checking, Erquiaga bets 800,000, Abdo quickly folds.

Fabian Rolli is down to 8 big blinds and risks it all from under the gun. Ki Young Kim calls and is ahead with the ace.

Rolli gets lucky on the flop which holds through the runout to double through.

With heavy action at nearly every hand, short stacked Sean Tan has been unable to get in the action. At the start of the new level, he takes a stand with his last 11 big blinds only to run into aces.

With the flop arriving , Tan’s only hope is a runner runner flush. The turn  is one of his outs but not the river  to fall in 6th place.

Loy Abdo min-raises from under the gun and Dicky Tsang defends his big blind.

Following a check, Abdo continues for 400,000 on a flop of  and Tsang calls with top pair on hand. Abdo is unrelenting, firing 1,000,000 on the turn and Tsang continues to defend with a call.

The river opens with a check again from Tsang and Abdo tanks firing 1,500,000 on a stone cold bluff. This sends Tsang deep in the tank until he burns through four time extensions before finding the reason hero-call with a pair of queens.

With a pair on hand, David Erquiaga shoves from the small blind seat and big blind Fabian Rolli snap-calls with a covering stack.

Erquiaga is slightly ahead with a pair however is flipping against big slick. The board fades the big cards for Erquiaga to keep his title hopes alive.

Everyone folds to the small blind Loy Abdo , he limps in, and big blind Ki Young Kim  checks for a cheap flop of .

Action erupts with Kim landing top pair which he raises to 300,000. Abdo check-raises 700,000, and Kim calls. The turn is checked by Abdo, Kim announces 1,200,000 and Abdo quickly releases his hand.

Dicky Tsang makes it 300,000 at cutoff and goes flop hunting with caller Loy Abdo in position on the button.

On a flop of , Tsang checks his top pair giving Abdo the green light to fire. Abdo does for 225,000, Tsang flats, and they head to the turn . Tsang checks again and this time Abdo checks back for a free river card .

Tsang is in the driver’s seat with the flush while Abdo improves to a straight. Tsang checks, Abdo checks back and Tsang rakes it in.

Action folds to the button Fabian Rolli who peeks at in the hole. Big blind Dicky Tsang has and jams 3,400,000. Rolli snap-calls and it’s a flip for Tsang.

The flop quickly grants Tsang an ace, and as it runs out , Tsang catapults to the top of the counts.

Kuo Kai Ma is down to 14 big blinds and goes all in with . On the button, Ki Young Kim calls with to put Ma on the ropes for his tournament life.

The flop   fully favors Kim giving him instant trips. Looking bleak for Ma, the turn and river are no help to end his run in 7th place.

First to act, David Erquiaga gets dealt and drives it to 250,000. Action folds to the small blind Ki Young Kim who has  and three-bets to 750,000. Erquiaga answers with a four-bet to 1,600,000, and gets thrown back a five-bet shove for 3,600,000. Erquiaga lays it down, relinquishing a big pot without a showdown.

Dicky Tsang   kicks off the action with a raise to 240,000, Loy Abdo calls from the cutoff seat, then big blind Fabian Rolli wakes up with and three-bets to 1,000,000. Tsang and Abdo quickly fold.

David Erquiaga wins another pot with big blind Kuo Kai Ma defending on the big blind. Erquiaga continues for 375,000 on a flop of and Ma folds despite landing top pair.

Ki Young Kim opens from under the gun and is denied the blinds and ante by Loy Abdo  who defends his big blind.

More chips go in at the flop with Kim continuing for 220,000 that’s check-called by Abdo to take them to the turn . Both players check then Abdo leads 450,000 on the river , Kim tosses his hand to the muck.

With his fresh reload, Ki Young Kim opens 250,000 at hijack and faces off with David Erquiaga again who calls at cutoff.

They proceed to check it to the turn where Kim sends out a delayed c-bet of 275,000 and Erquiaga flats with his set.

Kim slows down to a check on the river, Erquiaga bets 475,000 and wins some of his chips back with Kim surrendering his hand.

Action packed hand starts with cutoff player Loy Abdo   raising to 250,000, on the button, Ki Young Kim three-bets to 800,000, then small blind David Erquiaga squeezes for 1,400,000.

Too much heat, Abdo gets out of the way while Kim calls for his tournament life.

Kim is in trouble with only two outs to keep him in his seat. The board comes running for a stunner catch on the river for a double up.

With no action before him, Loy Abdo raises 275,000 on the button and big blind David Erquiaga defends.

Abdo flops a straight and continues for 150,000, Erquiaga has top pair and check-calls for the turn card.

Erquiaga now has a flush draw and checks it. Abdo fires again for 325,000 and Erquiaga flats to buy a river card of .

Erquiaga checks again, Abdo has the nuts and dips in again, emerging with a 1,200,000 bet. Erquiaga lays down his top pair.

Fabian Rolli opens 200,000 out of the hijack seat and finds two callers,  small blind Kuo Kai Ma and big blind Loy Abdo .

The flop is checked to Rolli who continues for 250,000 and takes down the pot with both players folding.

Ki Young Kim bumps it up to 225,000, David Erquiaga calls from the hijack position, then Kuo Kai Ma  uses up two time extensions before unloading it all for 2,500,000.

Kim is covered and tanks then lays it down. Erquiaga follows behind for Ma to scoop up the pot.

At cutoff, Ki Young Kim opens for 225,000 and big blind Sean Tan defends with .

Kim continues for 200,000 on the flop and Tan check-calls. The turn is checked by both for the river . Tan checks again, Kim fires 500,000 and wins the pot.

Kuo Kai Ma   raises from cutoff and David Erquiaga defends on the big blind. Ma continues for 160,000 on the flop and Erquiaga check-calls.

The turn slows down Ma who checks back to Erquiaga for a free river . Erquiaga checks once more, Ma checks as well then wins the pot with ace-high.

Out of the hijack seat, David Erquiaga makes it 225,000 and Kuo Kai Ma  his big blind. They proceed to check it to the river . Ma pairs up and bets 150,000 for it then wins the pot with Erquiaga folding.

Loy Abdo raises to t225,000 out of the hijack seat and Fabian Rolli  calls at small blind.

Action is checked to the turn  where Rolli leads out 300,000 which Abdo calls for the river . Rolli returns to checking, Abdo checks back then mucks to Rolli’s pocket pair.

Out of the hijack seat, Loy Abdo raises 225,000, two spots over David Erquiaga  three-bets 550,000, Abdo defends.

Action moves to the flop of where Abdo checks, Erquiaga continues for 525,000 and gets the job done with Abdo letting go of his hand.

Sean Tan open-shoves from under the gun for 1,600,000, and Loy Abdo   tanks at cutoff. After a minute, Abdo calls and they turn them over.

Tan is flipping for his tournament life. The board finds a jack on the river to save Tan from elimination.

First to act Ki Young Kim opens 220,000 and finds one caller in Sung Jin Yun at hijack. Following a few folds, big blind Loy Abdo three-bets to 675,000, inducing a fold from Kim while Yun wants to continue and tops up.

At the flop , Abdo quickly puts Yun all in who calls for his tournament life with an open-ended straight flush draw.

In percentage, Yun’s probability is 70-30 to his favor which reverses at the turn . The river  doesn’t bring any of Yun’s outs to finish in 8th place.

After the takedown Abdo has catapulted to the top of the counts.

Loy Abdo gets in the action with a min-raise out of the under the gun seat. Next door neighbor Ki Young Kim pumps it up with a three-bet to 450,000.

Abdo answers with a four-bet to 1,100,000 and that’s enough for Kim to lay downn his hand.

David Erquiaga opens 175,000 at hijack, gets challenged by Fabian Rolli  at cutoff with a 525,000 reraise. Erquiaga answers with a four-bet to 1,200,000, only to see Rolli five-bet to 2,000,000.

Erquiaga folds and Rolli shows his kings then drags in the pot that takes him to the top of the counts.

Sean Tan   raises 165,000 out of the hijack seat and Ki Young Kim defends his big blind.

Both players get a piece of the flop . Tan continues for 175,000 with top pair, Kim check-calls with his pair. The turn scares away Kim who folds to Tan’s 225,000 bet.

Fabian Rolli min-raises from middle position and gets some action from Sung Jin Yun . Rolli continues 130,000 at the flop of and Yun sticks around to see the turn .

With his straight, Rolli fires a larger 500,000 bet and that does the job with Yun folding.

Ki Young Kim is dealt another big slick and raises 165,000 from early position, Sung Jin Yun at cutoff three-bets 425,000, then Kuo Kai Ma jams on the big blind for 965,000.

Action back on Kim who tank-folds leaving the decision to Yun who tank-folds as well.

Ki Young Kim joins the action with a 165,000 raise out of the hijack seat. David Erquiaga   calls on the button, and big blind Sean Tan tops up for three-way action.

At the flop , two checks to Erquiaga who, like previous, lays out a test-bet for 225,000. Only Kim calls for the turn .

Kim checks again and Erquiaga fires a 550,000 bet which is enough to induce a fold from Kim.

First to act Sung Jin Yun makes it 160,000, two spots over Dicky Tsang three-bets to 480,000. Yun gives it up.

Next hand, Tsang is dealt   at early position and raises 160,000. Several spots over on the button, David Erquiaga  calls. Small blind Fabian Rolli tops up and odds are good for big blind Sung Jin Yun  who tops up as well for four-way action.

After the flop comes , it is checked to Erquiaga on the button who bets 375,000 for his top pair. Rolli check-calls, Yun gets out of the heat, and Tsang folds his top pair.

Heads up to the turn where Rolli leads out 420,000. Erquiaga tanks, using up one time extension then surrenders his hand.

Shixiang Khoo goes down in three losing hands. The first one has a board showing , Khoo bets 825,000 onto a big pot in the middle, Sung Jin Yun calls.

Down to 14 big blinds, small blind Khoo and big blind Dicky Siu Hang Tsang build a pot of 810,000 by the turn . Khoo checks, Tsang jams, Khoo releases his hand.

Next hand, Khoo goes all in for his last eight bigs with that runs into Sung Jin Yun’s  that further improve to a set to eliminated Khoo in 10th place.

Round two between Fabian Rolli and Sin Ren Chen. Rolli opens 160,000 and Chen raises 380,000 leaving 5,000 behind. Rolli calls and the flop comes . Chen checks, Rolli puts Chen all in who goes ahead and drops his last chip in.

No hat trick for the double-major champion Chung Tang Lin who has just been given his walking papers by Loy Abdo. Lin shoves on the button and Abdo snap-calls. When they show, Lin is in bad shape.

Fabian Rolli risks it all holding ace-jack and is up against the big stacked Loy Abdo with king-jack. A king finds the flop then an ace lands on the turn for Rolli to jump back out front then doubles up after the rag river.

Following a raise from Loy Abdo, Koji Nagasaka three-bets jams for 795,000 and successfully pushes out Abdo. Immediately after, Nagasaka shoves again and this time big blind Kiyoung Kim calls.

The board gives Abdo a little hope for the knockout but the turn and river  are fully on Thoo’s side to ship a reload.

Kim backs down and checks, Abdo tests him with a 500,000 bet, Kim folds in frustration.

Battle of the blinds see the board complete  .  With around 700,000 in the pot, Shixiang Khoo checks, Dicky Sui Hang Tsang bets 325,000. Khoo calls then mucks to  .

Koji Nagasaka doubles up through Ken Thoo, first defending his big blind then check-raising  all in on a flop . Thoo calls. Nagasaka has   and out-kicks Thoo’s . The river is .

Kiyoung Kim opens from cutoff and big blind Chung Tang Lin defends. On a board running , Kim c-bets 130,000 and 160,000. Lin check-calls both.

On the river , Lin checks once again, Kim doesn’t fire and just checks back.

Lin has , Kim wins the pot with higher pair.

Jun Yeong Park is the first casualty of Day 3 with David Erquiaga collecting. The hand opens with a 125,000 raise from Erquiaga at cutoff, Park three-bets 635,000 on the button leaving just 5,000 behind. Erquiaga tops up and they check it to the river.

With the board showing , Erquiaga put Park all in. Park uses up s couple of time extensions hoping for action at the other table for a possible payjump then tosses in his last chip knowing he is beat.

Erquiaga has top two, Park is eliminated with  lower two pair.

After several hands with no significant action, Chung Tang Lin opens 125,000 at cutoff and chip leader Loy Abdo defends his big blind. On a flop ,  Lin continues for 125,000 and Abdo defends again for a turn card . Both players check for a free river card,

From a total field of 749 entries, the PS Championship Main Event has reached its final day, with 14 players returning for the race to the coveted title. Each player is now guaranteed TWD 190,000, but all eyes are on the top prize of TWD 3,280,000, which awaits the eventual champion.

Once the field is reduced to the final nine players, play will move to the feature table. The action will be live streamed on the  Players Series YouTube channel on a 30-minute delay. Live updates will be posted on the same delay so as to avoid spoilers.

Cards start flying at 12PM. Blinds open at Level 26: 30K-60K ante 60K, increasing every 60 minutes.
