After a dominant closing stretch that sees him eliminate the final three players,  🇰🇷 Seungmook Jung is crowned champion of the PS Championship High Roller. This is his career fifth Players Series High Roller title. Jung pockets the TWD 1,500,000 top prize and the PS golden marquee trophy, a first for his collection.

In just the second heads up hand, Kwon Tae Young opens 250,000, Seungmook Jung three-bets all in, Kwon snap-calls and it’s a flip.

The flop quickly improves the leader   and with the turn   and river no help to Kwon, he finishes in 2nd place.

The PS Championship High Roller is now heads up between two Korean players: Seungmook Jung and Kwon Tae Young. Both players are guaranteed TWD 920,000 with the champion padding up an extra TWD 580,000.

Jung holds a commanding lead with 71 big blinds to Kwon’s 15 big blinds.

Kristof Segers

Kristof Segers jams and chip leader Seungmook Jung snap-calls. Segers is far behind with agains Jung’s  . Both players get a piece of the flop with the leader maintaining his lead which holds through the turn  and river .

Kristof Segers opens then folds to the heavy action with the leader Seungmook Jung shoving and Jing Hong Chen following for all of his chips. Chen’s hooks are far ahead however the flop brings a scare with Jung headed for a possible bad beat with a flush.

That’s exactly the case on the turn to end Chen’s run in 4th place. The river is a meaningless .

Jing Hong Chen makes it 175,000 from under the gun and big blind Seungmook Jung   defends. Action continues at the flop with a bet of 130,000 from Chen, and Jung calls.

More chips find the middle on the turn with a bet of 260,000 from Chen that Jung calls again. Chen barrels for the third time when the river comes, firing 650,000. Jung doesn’t hesitate and calls to expose Chen’s bluff.

After the loss, Kwon Tae Young   is all in and Seungmook Jung calls. The board runs for flush over top pair to double through.

Two hands after, Kwon limps in from the small blind and Kristof Segers taps it for a flop of . Kwon leads 80,000 and Segers calls.

More chips go in on the turn with Kwon in control, sending out a 240,000 bet. Again, Segers calls to bring the river .

Kwon tanks then bets 180,000. For the third time, Segers calls then mucks to the trips.

Kwon Tae Y0ung opens then snap-calls Kristof Segers’s   three-bet shove. Segers is far behind with only the ace to keep him in the game.

The board immediately grants Segers not just the ace but two pair and when it runs out , he doubles up.

Small blind Seungmook Jung limps in and Jing Hong Chen  checks the big blind.

Both players proceed to check the flop then Chen bets 100,000 on the turn . Jung fast-calls then Jung checks again when the river comes . This time Chen checks back and Jung laughs showing the nut flush.

Out of the cutoff seat, Jing Hong Chen   min-raises and big blind Kristof Segers checks. They keep it friendly at the flop   then bets resume on the turn with Segers leading out 175,000, and Chen flats.

The river pairs the board, giving Chen trips. Segers continues the aggression firing a 350,000 bet and this time he is challenged back with a raise to 850,000. Segers has around 1,100,000 behind and tanks.

After burning through two time extensions, Segers folds.

Level 25 is underway with blinds of 40K-80K ante 80K. The final table is now down to four players with Seungmook Jung leading the pack. The top prize is TWD 1,500,000.

Kwon Tae Young jams out of the small blind and Yu-Chung Chang takes the risk for his last 3 big blinds.

The board tables   to end Chang’s run in 5th place.

Seungmook Jung min-raises on the button and big blind Kwon Tae Young defends his big blind. The flop comes for top pair to Kwon and he shoves. Jung quickly folds, relinquishing his stake in the pot.

Jing Hong Chen min-raises out of the cutoff seat, Kwon Tae Young  challenges all in for 910,000, Chen lets it go.

With a rabbit feature in the livestreaml Chen would have won it with a seven on the window.

Level 24 is underway with blinds of 30K-60K ante 60K. The race for the PSC High Roller title and TWD 1,500,000 top prize is down to just five players.

Yu-Chung Chang   opens 100,000 then calls Kristof Segers’s shove. Chang has a covering stack and a pocket pair. Segers is flipping and needs to connect on the board.

The board grants Segers a pair on the turn to keep his title dream alive.

Kristof Segers min-raises at cutoff, button player Seungmook Jung  flats, then small blind Kwon Tae Young   squeezes all in for 530,000. Segers thinks about it then opts to fold. Jung follows suit behind.

Seungmook Jung opens 110,000 on the button, Jing Hong Chen  three-bets 300,000, Jung calls. As soon as the flop comes , Chen fires another 300,000 and wins the pot uncontested.

Dae Gyu Hwang open jams his last 480,000 and has to back him up, Seungmook Jung calls with and a covering stack. Hwang needs to pair up the ace to stay in the game, but it doesn’t arrive with the board runnning out  .

Hwang exits on 6th place.

Jing Hong Chen gets dealt at under the gun to put in a 100,000 raise. Small blind Kristof Segers     and big blind Seungmook Jung both call.

When the flop lands , both Chen and Jung improve to top pair and Chen gives it respect with a c-bet of 125,000. Segers folds while Jung calls. Action on the turn  is the same with Cheng betting and Jung tossing in the call to reach the river .

Again Jung checks, Chen shoves his last 650,000. Jung can afford it but opts out after using up a time extension.

Level 23 is underway with blinds of 25K – 50K ante 50K. Only 6 players remain on the hunt for the title and TWD 1,500,000 top prize.

After the costly bluff that led to his plunge to 1 big blind, Cheng Yu Hsuan doubles up through Kristof Segers  on a runout of .

Boosted to 108,000 he looks down at and raises to 93,000, only Segers  calls, defending on the big blind. After Segers checks the flop , Cheng tosses the rest in and it doesn’t scare away Segers who calls the light 15,000 bet.

The turn seals Segers the win with a straight and after the river tables , Cheng packs up in 7th place.

Level 22 is underway with blind of 20K-40K ante 40K. The field is down to 7 players all vying for the top prize of TWD 1,500,000.

At cutoff, Kristof Segers looks down at and bumps it up to 60,000. To his immediate left, Cheng Yu Hsuan peeks at and wants control on the button to fire a three-bet to 150,000. Segers calls and they head to a flop of .

Segers checks, Cheng continues to represent a strong hand and bets 155,000, Segers flats for the turn to come . Action repeats with Hsuan barreling 250,000. Segers tanks then calls. The river comes for a straight on the board.

With his higher straight, Segers leads out 800,000, Cheng tries to steal with a shove, Segers calls and gets fully paid for his higher straight as Cheng plays the board and plunges to 1 big blind.

Sung Jin Yun open jams his last 275,000 and is denied the blinds an ante with Dae Gyu Hwan defending his big blind. Once their hands are revealed, Yun is flipping for his tournament life.

Kristof Segers makes it 60,000 to go from the hijack seat and big blind Jing Hong Chen defends to take them to a flop of . Chen defers the betting to the aggressor Segers who continues for 50,000. Chen calls.

No action is seen on the turn with both players checking until the river where Chen tries to extract value with a bet of 75,000. Segers doesn’t bite and Chen picks up the pot.

Level 21 is underway with blinds of 15K-30K ante 30K. The final table is complete with 9 in the round.

No action until the small blind Kristof Segers   limps in and gets to see the flop cheap with big blind Cheng Yu Hsuan checking. They proceed to check it to the river   where Segers lays out a 50,000 bet. Cheng pays to see, then mucks to the full house.

Sung Jin Yun raises 50,000, hijack player Jing Hong Chen calls and big blind Kris Segers joins in for three-way action to the flop of Yun continues for 60,000, Chen bumps it up to 125,000, Segers gets out of the way, and Yun tank-calls after spending a time extension.

The pressure continues on the turn with Chen betting 200,000 after Yun checks. Yun tanks again, burning through two time extensions then finds a fold. Chen picks up another pot.

Out of the hijack seat, Seungmook Jung  raises 50,000, button Sung Jin Yun   calls, then big blind Jing Hong Chen three-bets 160,000. Action bounces back to Jung, he tanks then jams his enormous stack. No fear for Chen who calls despite having the shorter stack.

Nirunrut Rachburom goes down in-back-to-back hands. The first one opens with a raise by under the gun Cheng Yu Hsuan that’s called by button player Seungmook Jung and Rachburom on the big blind.

Action switches up on the flop   with action checking to the big stacked Jung who fires 63,000. Only Rachburom continues and they go to the turn . Following Rachburom’s check, Jung shoves his huge stack and wins the pot.

The next hand opens with a raise from Horace Leung at under the gun who then snap-calls Rachburom’s shove of 214,0000.

Upon revealing, Rachburom is in very bad shape with as Leung fiips over  .

The flop gives Rachburom a bit of hope but quickly vanishes on the turn   and river  to end her run in 13th place.

After Kristof Segers opens, Peh Binglong three-bets all in for 98,000 and Segers makes the call for round two to decide if he bubbles or continues.

Binglong need to connect however this time the deck is not in his favor as it runs   for an overkill full house to Segers to end Binglong’s run on the stone cold bubble.

Peh Binglong has been sitting on a short stack for a long time and finally found a spot to risk it. At under the gun, he goes all in for 54,000 and small blind Kristof Segers calls.

Binglong is ahead but the ace scare card gives him a sweat. The flop is clean   and so are the turn and river to survive and double up.

Dae Gyu Hwang limps in on the button, small blind Han Dong Ju does the same from the small blind, and Seungmook Jung taps to signal the dealer to flop it. The cards come .

Action is checked to Hwang, he bets 20,000 and only Jung calls. From there, no more bets find the felt with the turn   and river passed up by both.

Level 19 begins with blinds of 10K-20K ante 20K. With 14 players remaining, it is still bubble time.

Dae Gyu Hwang and Methavee Taveekitvatee are on the river with a board showing .  Up for grabs is a big pot of 348,800. Taveekitvatee checks, Hwang jams and well covers Taveekitvatee’s stack who proceeds to tank.

Taveekitvatee tanks then eventually opts to preserve her chips and Hwang is relieved showing  bluff.

Next hand Horace Leung min-raises then folds to Taveekitvatee’s jams for 228,000.

Still on the bubble with 14 players remaining. Sung Jin Yun attempts to steal the blinds with a 32,000 bet on the button. Small blind CK Teng defends with a 100,000 re-raise, then big blind Yu-Chung Chang four-bets 190,000. Yun quickly gets out of the way and Teng follows suit.

Under the gun Han Dong Ju and middle position Methavee Taveekitvatee engage in a hand that builds a pot of 138,000 before the dealer spreads a flop of . Ju leads 80,000 and Taveekitvatee calls to go to the turn where it’s checked by both.

Ju returns to betting on the river after the is tabled and slides out 85,000 leaving just 8,000 behind. Taveekitvatee assesses the board then folds.

Two hands after hand, Segers opens 25,000 at hijack and tops up after next door neighbor Jing Hong Chen three-bets to 60,000. More chips go in on the flop . Chen gets the go-ahead and bets 35,000, Segers check-calls to take them to the turn .

Segers switches up and uses a time extension before sliding out a bet that’s met with a snap-fold.

Level 17 is underway with blinds of 6K-12K ante 12K. Only 17 players remain from a field of 86 entries. The hunt for a piece of the TWD 4,904,100 prize pool continues with ITM starting at 13 players.

Kristof Segers min-raises at cutoff and it’s a three-way with the blinds both calling. Segers continues for 25,000 on a flop of   and again Methavee Taveekitvatee and Bing Long stick around to the turn where they all check.

The river is checked again by the blinds. Segers resumes betting for 100,000. Taveekitvatee calls and Long folds.

Segers reveals flush and rakes in the pot.

Action folds to the small blind Cheng Yu Hsuan who takes a peek then raises to 30,000. Big blind Seungmook Jung defends to take the bout to the flop .

Cheng continues to attack with a bet of 25,000, and Jung calls. More firepower on the turn with a 60,000 bet from Cheng that Jung matches up once more. The river comes and this time, the fire dies out with Cheng checking and Jung doing the same.

Level 16 is underway with blinds of 5K-10K ante 10K. Only 20 players remaining on the hunt for a piece of the TWD 4,904,100 prize pool with a top prize of TWD 1,500,000.

Kristof Segers starts it off with a min-raise and Hon Cheong Lee calls. Next to act, Peh Binglong, moves all in for 95,000 sending the decision back to Segers who tank-folds despite his hefty stack. Lee goes the other direction and calls to put Binglong on the ropes.

When they turn them over, it’s a flip with Long ahead with his pair

Binglong needs to dodge paint to survive but with a flop landing ,  he falls behind. The turn changes nothing then the poker gods make up for it on the river with the   finding the board to save Binglong from busting.

Chip leader Horace Leung makes it 16,000 at first to act which gets two callers. Leung continues for 20,000 at the flop and only Wang Cbhihyuan pays to go to the turn  where both players check.

The comes on the river and Leung resumes betting for 75,000. Wang gives up his hand.

With no action before him, Hon Cheong Lee jams 132,000 out of the small blind seat. Big blind player tanks then decides to risk his covered stack. Upon risking he says to Lee, “you’re ahead”, and indeed Lee is with against  .

The board favors Lee, giving him hearts as additional chances of cleaning up and does so as it completes .

Catching the action as a player storms out of the field on a board showing . Button players has and at under the gun is Wang Chihyuan with   straight on the river.

Wooseok Kim is all in holding and gets called by Sung Jin Yun with    and a covering stack.  Kim lands top pair on the flop but is not out of the woods yet with an open-ended threatening to end his day. The turn adds more outs for Sung. The anticipated river is finally tabled and it’s the  for trips to Kim and a double up.

By the time the dealer spreads the flop of , the pot has bloated to 120,000. Wang Chihyuan bets 35,000 into it only to be challenged by Seungmook Jung with an 85,000 raise. Wang tank-calls.

On the turn , Wang checks, Jung fires 135,000, Wang folds in frustration.

Catching the action on a board of with three players vying for the 240,000 pot. Kristof Segers jams and well covers Chao Ting Cheng who folds and Thinh Nguyen who uses up two time extensions before folding as well.

Level 15 is underway with blinds of 4K-8K ante 8K. Still a long way to go to ITM of 13 players with double that still in the field. Horace Leung is currently at the top of the leaderboard with 640,000 in chips.

Andy Tsai is all in holding   and Woosek Kim is looking to crack it with . The flop brings some hope for Kim however it does not get there on the turn and river to pay Tsai in full.

Seunghyuk Jung starts it off with a min-raise, Kristof Segers calls, then Jing Hong Chen three-bets all in for 67,000. Two spots over Michel Molenaar tanks then four-bets all in to successfully isolate the action.

Chen is ahead needs to dodge the big cards to survive. The deck cooperates running a blank board of  .

Immediately following the hand, Chen raises again and Molenaar calls on the button along with big blind Nirunrut Rachburom who eventually folds on the flop to Chen’s 10,000 bet on a board . Molenaar calls then they both check the turn that pairs the board.

When another turns up on the river, Chen slides out 16,000 and wins the pot without further challenge from Molenaar.

After Methavee Taveekitvatee opens, a late position player three-bets 60,000 that’s called by Horace Leung, action returns to her and she jams 192,000. Mp player calls while Leung tanks before releasing his hand.

Though Taveekitvate has her opponent covered, she is in trouble with  dominated by .

As soon as the flop lands  , she is behind no more and starts dragging back her chips confident to win as the runout is turn and  river.

Level 14 is underway with blind

Hyundong Lee min-raises from middle position and big blind Chao Ting Cheng defends on the big blind. When the board runs out , Lee fires 8,000, 17,000, and 42,000. Cheng calls the first two bets then tank-folds to the river bet.

The prize pool is up! The PS Championship High Roller closed with 86 entries at TWD 66,000 buy-in each. This generated a prize pool of TWD 4,904,100 to be divvied up by the top 13 players.

Cheng Yu Hsuan picks up a pot of around 70,000 against Methavee Taveekitvatee with an ace showing on the board. He has that easily dusts her   .

Level 13 is underway with blinds of 2K-5K ante 5K. Just over half of the field remains with 44 players seated out of the 86 total entries. They will play down to the final table which will then be livestreamed via Players Series YouTube.

After two levels of late registration, the PS Championship High Roller Event closes its gates with 86 entries. Standby for the official prize pool and payouts.

The PS Championship High Roller resumes at 12PM with 26 players returning from an initial field of 58 entries, all chasing a deep run on Day 2. The guarantee has already been surpassed and the prize pool is on track to sail well beyond the TWD 4 million mark.

For players looking to jump in, registration remains open for two more levels and will officially close at the start of Level 13 at 1:30PM.
