β Event Recap
Day 2 resumes with 26 players returning from the 58-entry Day 1 field. With late registration open for the first two levels, another 28 players take their seats, bringing the final tally to 86 entries and pushing the prize pool up to TWD 4,904,100.
Before the money bubble bursts, π°π· Seungmook Jung sets the tone for his deep run by dragging a monster pot, rivering a flush to send π²π΄ Iat Man Leong to the rail in disbelief. The bubble bursts on short-stacked πΈπ¬Peh Binglong,Β unable to pair his ace against πΉπΌKristof Segersβs pocket queens.
From there, eliminations come quickly. πΉπ Nirunrut Rachburom is the first to the pay desk in 13th place, followed by πΈπ¬ Chee Keong Teng in 12th. πΉπΌ Cheng Yu Hsuan then delivers a double knockout to π°π· Han Dong Ju (11th) and πΉπ Methavee Taveekitvatee (10th) to establish the final table.

Front (L-R): Kwon Tae Young, Horace Leung, Yu-Chung Chang, Kristof Segers; Back (L-R): Jing Hong Chen, Sung Jin Yun, Dae Gyu Hwang, Seungmook Jung, Cheng Yu Hsuan
Cheng carries in the lead with Jung right on his heels. The lead shifts multiple times, with Segers and πΉπΌ Jing Hong Chen also spending time at the top. It isnβt until play reaches four-handed that Jung pulls ahead after cracking Chen’s jacks with sevens turned flush then eliminates Segers in 3rd place.
Entering heads-up against π°π·Kwon Tae Young, Jung wastes little time. Within just a couple of hands, the chips go in on a flip, and Jungβs hand improves against Kwon’s pocket pair to claim the title.
β Best Hands of the Day

Iat Man Leong
One impressive showdown takes place before the final table when Jung pushes Leong on the river to commit his entire stack, only to reveal a rivered flush against Leongβs two pair.
Another highlight comes at the final table when Cheng Yu Hsuan fires a bold triple-barrel shove on a board showing a straight. Kristof Segers makes the call with the higher straight to send Cheng plunging down the counts in one of the most dramatic clashes of the day.
