πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Kiyoung Kim continued to shine at the series. Just days after he dominated Flight A of the PS Championship Main Event, Kim conquered the PS Championship Super High Roller.

The event attracted 48 entries at TWD 100,000 each, to generate a TWD 4,147,200 prize pool with the top 8 players earning a payout. Following a heads-up deal, Kim secured the larger share worth TWD 1,156,000 while runner-up πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό Justin Chu settled for TWD 1,000,000.

Kim made an early statement with a huge triple knockout that catapulted him to the top of the chip counts, a lead he carried into the final table. The road to the title wasn’t without swings, however, as his stack later dipped to just eight big blinds before he mounted a steady comeback.

Facing the highly decorated Chu for the title, Kim quickly seized control, winning a majority of the pots to build a commanding advantage. The final hand saw Kim turn a higher pair to finally seal his first-ever PS title.

⭐ PS Championship Main Event: Flight C-D

The PS Championship Main Event has a new leader, πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬ Shixiang Khoo, who bagged 883,000 at Flight C, equivalent to 88 big blinds – based on the closing 5K-10K ante 10K blinds. He overtook Flight A chip leader, πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Kiyoung Kim, who is on a heater having won the PS Championship Super High Roller.

Also bagging up a healthy stack was series double major winner πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό Chung Tang Lin (Natural8 Open High Roller & Natural8 Open Main Event) with 241,000 (24 bb).

At Flight D, it was Korean slugger πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Chiu Wah Kim who closed as frontrunner with 642,000, equivalent to 80 big blinds – based on the closing 4K-8K ante 8K blinds. Chiu sits fourth in the current Day 2 pecking order.

In numbers, Flight C drew 164 entries and is the largest flight so far while Flight D attracted 76 runners. A combined 37 players was added to the Day 2 lineup.

Only two flights remain to enter the festival’s highlight event. Flight E and Flight F both run on Saturday, March 7 at 11AM and 6PM. Buy-in is TWD 33,000.

Currently, the tally is a combined 391 entries with 61 locking up their spot at the ITM round where a guaranteed TWD 20,000,000 prize pool awaits.

It was a grueling grind for the Women’s Championship title, with the final three ladies each burning through their β€œcat lives” before πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό An Qi Huang eliminated πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬ Mei San Ang to face πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡­ Siriwan Sukmekerd at heads up.

Nearly even at the start, Huang chunked down Sukmekerd to just 3 bb for a lopsided 11 to 1 advantage but was unable to close it out. Sukmekerd recovered then went on to capture the unique all-pink event trophy and the TWD 88,000 top prize.

πŸ† Darren Wee Wins It All At Mystery Bounty High Roller

Well past the witching hour, πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬ Darren Wee defeated πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Yongjae Lee at heads up to clinch the Mystery Bounty High Roller title for his first ever Players Series victory.

The final hand saw Wee’s hold against Lee’s on a board that ran a doozy . Adding more reward to his win, Wee found the biggest bounty in the treasure chest worth TWD 220,000. He also pulled the second largest earlier in the night of TWD 100,000.

In addition to his first PS trophy, Wee walked away richer for a total haul of TWD 775,000.

The Mystery Bounty High Roller drew 31 runners for a prize pool of TWD 1,015,200 with the top 6 players getting paid.

πŸ† Sehoon Yoon Wins First PS Trophy at Deepstack Bounty

Yoon outlasted 57 entries to claim the largest slice of the TWD 487,100 prize pool, banking TWD 102,000 for the victory. The win served as redemption for Liffick, who missed a title just days earlier with a runner-up finish in the No Limit Hold’em – Hyper Turbo event. According to Liffick, he will need to buy a suitcase as this triumph could be just the beginning of more wins in the days ahead.
