A familiar force on the Players Series circuit, πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Seungmook Jung added another notch to his belt after storming through the festival’s marquee PS Championship High Roller.

Already backed by four previous PS high roller titles, Jung pushed his tally to five with a commanding run at the final table of the 86-entry field. To close it out, Jung knocked out the final three players in quick succession to earn the TWD 1,500,000 top prize of the TWD 4,904,100 prize pool.

Also to be commended were πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό Kristof Segers and πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό Yu-Chung Chang, both players on their third marquee high roller final table of the series. Segers finished 3rd at the Natural8 Open Main Event and 6th at the Superstar Challenge. For Chang, he placed 3rd at the Natural8 Open Super High Roller and 4th at the Superstar Challenge.

What initially looked like to be an overlay turned out to be anything but as the PS Mystery Bounty drew 263 entries across four flights. With the buy-in at TWD 20,000, it pushed the prize pool to TWD 4,544,700.

The reasons for this rise were the last two flights that hauled in a combined 201 entries. Among the 31 survivors was πŸ‡­πŸ‡° Ho Yin Cheung who bagged a massive 762,000 stack to take over the top spot in the Day 2 lineup.

Lee outlasted a field of 49 entries to secure the lion’s share of the TWD 331,200 prize pool, turning his TWD 8,000 buy-in into a rewarding TWD 105,200 payday.

Just one day after conquering the Deepstack Freezeout Gold, Ho returned to the tables and powered through the High Roller Freezeout field, outlasting the 33 player lineup to secure the TWD 475,500 top prize and his second trophy of the festival.

One of the last events to wrap up was the Turbo Freezeout where 42 players took their chances, each hoping a single bullet would be enough to go the distance.

The final hand was a sick cooler with πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Noah Fall‘s burned on the flop by πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Jaegeol Cho‘s . While there was no change on the turn , it was redemption on the river for a higher set to Fall, capturing his first ever PS victory in stunning style. Along with the trophy, Fall earned the champion’s payout of TWD 98,500.

You may have seen πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό Yusung Lee working on the floor these past days, but he also works the tables in his time off.

Just two days prior, Lee missed glory at the PS National Cup, finishing in 4th place. Still energized from the deep run, he made up for it at the 7-Max Hyper Turbo, overcoming the 43 entry field for his first PS trophy and a payout of TWD 63,100 out of the TWD 179,600 prize pool.

As the Players Series Championship III Taipei continues into its second half with games running through March 10, the main series highlight PS Championship Main Event is up next featuring the grandest prize pool guarantee of TWD 20,000,000.

A total of five flights is available with Flight A already completed attracting 64 entries and 10 players securing their spot in the ITM stage. πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Kim Kiyoung bagged the chip lead of 832,000, equivalent to a jaw-dropping 166 big blinds, based on the ending blinds of 2,000-5,000 ante 5,000.
